Wooden Painting. External and interior

(windows, doors, fences, etc.) Amsterdam is a authentic city and most of the houses have beautiful wooden windows and doors that require special attention when it comes time for their painting and maintenance. Requirements for painting of wood in the external environment and the interior are different. The influence of large temperature differences, rain, snow, sunlight, changing humidity and more affect the durability of the paint on the exterior and require different qualities of paint and lacquer materials. Before painting, the wood should be ripe, firm and completely dry (max. 12% humidity). If it is not so,the wood responds by changing the size and the paint is mechanically loaded (it cracks and does not connect well). Common course of action:
1.
If the old coatings have been damaged is required removal by use of a hot air gun.
2.
Removal of old paint by sanding with appropriate sandpaper depending on the surface.
3.
Priming (one or two layers).
4.
Using suitable wood fillers, which is needed for the equalization of greater roughness, filling holes and equalization defects at the surface of wood.
5.
Priming(one time on repaired places).
6.
Sanding with light sandpaper.
7.
Špplication of special acrylic filler in the corners against cracking.
8.
Painting (2 layers).
